Clinical Respiratory Therapist

We have an immediate opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist CRT/RRT to join our dynamic team in Delaware and Maryland.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery of respiratory equipment to patients, Will perform delivery functions as needed to meet demands of the day in a timely fashion. Scheduling patient set up's.
  • Setup and educate Sleep Apnea patients on the usage and maintenance of their CPAP & BiLevel equipment as well as Oxygen therapy.
  • Educate patient on the usage and maintenance of their equipment so they are able to be successful and compliant
  • Setup patient's machine. Set machine pressure, comfort settings, etc. per the specifications of the patient's Rx. Fit patient with the appropriate mask type and size.
  • Handling on-call duties when assigned by Respiratory Care Manager.
  • Delivers required patient set up paperwork and is responsible for appropriate paper flow. Ensures patient/caregiver understands admission paperwork and gets signature prior to leaving equipment.
  • Must be able to handle heavy materials and equipment required in course of daily activities.
  • Effectively communicates with Respiratory Care Manager on any inventory needs.
  • Effectively communicates with immediate associates and supervisors on a regular basis. Keeps cell phone charged to maintain communication/availability while on duty or on-call.
  • Maintains vehicle, oil, tire pressure, inspection and fueled to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Follows Universal Precautions, cleans hands between patients, wears gloves appropriately and adheres to clean/dirty designated areas.
  • Represents company with neat and professional appearance according to dress code.
  • Provides friendly, courteous service. Maintains patient confidentiality.

Job Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills required. Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
  • Experience in a Sleep Lab or DME setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Must have an active CRT, RCP, or RRT license in the state or states you are interested in working in.
Administrative

Currently seeking a full time receptionist to join our expanding team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: answering incoming calls from patients and physician offices, transferring calls to the correct departments, faxing requests to physician offices, complete knowledge of company procedures, and any ad hoc projects as assigned by supervisor. Outstanding customer service experience as well as knowledge of PAP/Oxygen equipment is desired but not required. Candidate must have excellent phone etiquette and professional attitude. The specialties/physicians that you will be interacting with are: Pulmonologists, Ear Nose & Throat (ENT), Internal Medicine and Family Practices.
*Must have a background in Sleep, and prior knowledge on products and services such as home oxygen, and CPAP/BiPAP.*

As our area Sales Representative, your main goal will be to gain referrals for patients who suffer from respiratory disorders for treatment. Your ability to develop trusting referral relationships with a variety of medical professionals will be the key to your success. Your ability to drive in new business and contribute to the overall growth and success of our company will be recognized and rewarded.

Success Factors:

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, sleep centers, discharge planners, nurses and other healthcare decision makers.
  • Continually grow your base of referral contacts through consistent sales activity.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-service, educational programs for medical professionals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 - 5+ years of medical related sales experience. Experience in medical area such as DME, pharmaceutical, home care, healthcare service sales will be preferred.
  • Experience selling directly to physicians and other medical professionals is essential.
  • Respiratory and/or home care experience is a plus.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional time-management skills.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and achievement-oriented.
